Data Manager

Bright Learners Private School is looking for dedicated, qualified, and experienced Academic Data Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will lead on the overall management of student data and whole school data analysis, using the school SIS management system. Analysis of data will be across all Grades KG-6, in accordance with school and external requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining detailed configuration of SIS System and Integrations
• Working closely with school leadership team to ensure valid and reliable data is available for academic staff
• Working closely with IT administrator to provide quality IT support to users and document systems changes
• Assisting to develop applications/tools like databases, macros, templates etc. to automate workflows/processes in the schools
• Monitoring and coordinating assessment platforms MAP, CAT4, HMH, Nexquare, IXL, and others
• Assisting in developing and enforcing operational application standard configurations, documentation, and procedures
• Analyze and generate reports or assessment data for leaders and teachers in user-friendly concise overview (i.e. Nexquare)
• Provide regular census and attendance data to admin when required
• To provide support with integration of various technical/ school related SIS/SMS platforms

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in an SIS /Application
• Experience in the field of Education
• Experience with KHDA inspections process
• Fluent in English communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with staff in a diverse multi-cultural environment
• Demonstrate professionalism, commitment and integrity
• Innovative, motivated, resourceful, flexible and outgoing
• Ability to facilitate presentations
