Dubai Heights Academy is a warm and welcoming place to work. Located in the Al Barsha South area of Dubai, this is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing, energetic and proactive Data Manager.

The school opened in 2017. It offers an inclusive, exciting and outstanding education to an international community of students from FS1 to Year 11 (2024-2025) and will continue to grow organically to Year 13.

The campus is state-of-the-art with separate buildings for each phase as well as a 380 seat auditorium. There are three temperature controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer labs, specialist rooms for art, DT, music, and drama, a library, two multipurpose sports halls, a full size football pitch, a variety of outdoor play areas, a coffee shop and a spacious canteen with a new secondary building opening in 2024/25.

Dubai Heights Academy has an opening for a meticulous and proactive  Data Manager who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and integrity of our data systems, contributing significantly to our school's success.

The role will involve but is not limited to, the following:

Management and Maintenance of School MIS (iSAMS) and CRM (OpenApply):

  • Oversee the daily operations, maintenance and further development of the school’s Management Information System (MIS), iSAMS and school’s CRM.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within the systems are aligned.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on iSAMS/OpenApply usage.

Management and Maintenance of School Software:

  • Manage and maintain educational software platforms including but not limited to Kerboodle, Renaissance Place.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to these platforms.
  • Coordinate with software providers for updates and support.

Management of External Assessments (GL Assessments/CAT4/ABT):

  • Maintain and manage access to external assessment sites such as GL Assessments.
  • Book and generate logins as appropriate for students and staff for tests.
  • Ensure timely and accurate administration of all external assessments.
  • Planning and administering assessments in consultation with Heads of Departments.

Data Production and Reporting:

  • Generate, produce and analyse internal and external assessment/examination data reports and provide feedback to Heads of Departments. 
  • Ensure data is shared, presented and discussed with school management, teachers, and external stakeholders as required.
  • Prepare statistical reports including information on the number of nationalities, families, and other demographics.
  • Upload relevant data onto the KHDA portal regarding school information and statistics.

Academic Reporting:

  • Prepare individual student reports.
  • Input punctuality and attendance data onto student reports.
  • Coordinate the distribution of termly school reports.


The successful applicant will be required to have the following: 

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in using a school MIS, CRM and other educational software.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in data entry and database management systems in addition to experience with admissions software and CRM
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • A creative, tenacious, self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure
