Ysgol Rhosnesni is a 11-16 comprehensive school in Wrexham in North East Wales.  

We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced Data Manager to administer, analyse, collate and distribute data information at Rhosnesni High School.  This senior administrative role works in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff to support data systems to attain excellence in standards of teaching, learning and achievement, promoting the school's learning objectives and delivering an exception reporting structure to parents, pupils and staff. 

A degree of flexible working is essential for this position. Some school holiday duties are required and will be discussed at interview.  

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Degree level education or equivalent ICT qualification

 • Experience of working as a Data Manager, or in a similar senior administrative role

 • Experience of handling and manipulating large amounts of complex data  

• Knowledge of relevant education policy and regulation (in particular, on data and assessment)  

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and exceptional IT skills in general 

• Experience of undertaking administrative tasks within an office environment  

• Experience of working with school management systems such as SIMS is desirable, although full training will be given 

• The ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise workload 

• The ability to communicate and work positively with colleagues
