Data Officer: Attendance

The Lakes School is looking to appoint a Data Officer: Attendance  BS6 £18070 - £18,746 FTE,( £9.36 - £9.71 per hour)  Pro Rata for 5 days a week 32 ½ hours a week, 8.30 – 3-30 (which includes a ½ hour unpaid lunch break) term time only, a total of 39 working weeks of the year.   The Data Officer: Attendance will work alongside key school staff in school to promote excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to promote high levels of attendance. It is important to: 

• Promote and support high levels of attendance

• To support students in achieving their full academic potential • Promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture

• Form strong relationships with parents/carers 

A knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage although full training will be given.  The Lakes School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of its students in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, September 2016, and the Safer Recruitment process. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and health check along with two satisfactory references.
