Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism. We exist to make the ordinary possible for children and young people with autism. We work to provide more and better educational services, raise awareness and understanding of autism and campaign for change.
Due to our growth both in scale and complexity and the changing external environment we are recruiting to the new post of Data Protection Officer. This is a great opportunity for a focused, determined and resilient individual to shape this new role and establish best practice systems and approaches in the charity
Working to the Director of Strategy and Transformation and working closely with colleagues across the charity you will be responsible for ensuring organisational compliance with The Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation

Working pattern: hours are 14 hours per week – we are open to agreeing a flexible approach to this with the precise work pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate.
Location: Based at The Pears National Centre for Autism Education, Muswell Hill, London, N10 3JA. Travel to other sites will be required on an occasional basis.
