Job Purpose: To ensure the accuracy, security and effective use of the School’s data and digital systems, providing reliable access and support for staff, pupils and parents.

To deliver high-quality reporting and integrations that strengthen academic, operational and strategic decision-making while upholding all data protection and safeguarding requirements.

Reporting Line: Vice Principal (Academic)

Start date: April or September 2026

Tenure: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week, full-year round) Hybrid working available once established in role

Remuneration:Up to £68,473 per annum (package negotiable for the right candidate)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Data Systems Manager to join our School on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will lead the management, accuracy and security of pupil, staff and parent data, while overseeing the configuration, maintenance and integration of a wide range of third-party systems including iSAMS and associated platforms.

You will provide strategic leadership for the School’s data function, including line management of the Data Team, staff training, and contributing to digital governance at School and Group level. Working closely with senior leaders, you will deliver high-quality reporting, support assessment cycles, statutory returns and inspection readiness.

The role requires a strong commitment to data protection, GDPR and safeguarding, working closely with the Data Protection Lead to ensure compliance and respond to data-related requests.

This is a key strategic role for an organised and technically confident professional who is passionate about using data systems to support school improvement. The successful candidate will have experience of iSAMS, SQL, reporting tools such as Power BI, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data governance best practice.

They will demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to train and support staff effectively, work with accuracy and discretion, and build strong professional relationships in a fast-paced educational environment
