Database Manager (King Edward VI High School for Girls and King Edwards School)

The Schools seek a Database Manager to oversee the financial reporting and data analysis requirements of both Development Offices. The role is also instrumental in the Regular Giving programmes at both Schools. The role involves database management, IT support and gift administration as well as data/financial reporting and project management. The post holder will also be expected to play a key role in raising funds for two major fundraising campaigns for Assisted Places (bursaries): the award-winning and transformational Assisted Places Fund Campaign at KES, which has raised £10.5m to date, and the recently launched DELYVERE Campaign for Assisted Places at KEHS, which seeks to raise £3.7m.

The Database Manager will report to the Development Director and will be expected to manage all database and gift administration processes within the Office, as well as providing operational support for the Regular Giving activities for the two Assisted Places Funds. The Database Manager will also have particular responsibility for managing the new Gild Society giving club and for stewarding all relevant donors for this club.

The Database Manager will also work closely with the OEA Events Manager at King Edward’s School and the Alumnae Engagement Manager at KEHS on event communications. They will also liaise with the Director of Marketing and Communications at King Edward’s School, in regards to fundraising communications and social media and will work closely with the Finance Officers at both schools to reconcile all donations. The Database Manager will directly manage the Development Assistant, who also works across the two schools.
