We are recruiting a Delivery Manager for Adult Education to lead on contact with the JCP/DWP network, ensuring learners are recruited on to Adult Education courses.

As Delivery Manager for Adult Education, you will oversee and manage the recruitment and delivery on to Employability, Functional Skills and Distance Learning Programmes . You will oversee the work of three teams to make sure their targets are planned for and AEB funding is appropriately utilized, and that they are motivated and supported in their day-to-day tasks.

You will build good relationships with external stakeholders, primarily the JCP/DWP network, to identify new opportunities and encourage recruitment of learners.

Although you may not have previously worked in further education, you will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of the FE sector including funding streams and the current adult education agenda. You will have a proven track record of success in recruiting and/or meeting targets, and of monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators. You will have great communication skills in order to build relationships and influence outcomes, and will also be able to motivate and support staff as well as learners in their studies.
