Job overview
We are looking for a full-time Assessor to join our excellent Dental team within the Commercial Care department at Derby College, Pride Park.
You will be an experienced, qualified Assessor with significant knowledge of the Dental Nursing Framework and recent occupational experience.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated and motivated professional who is passionate about teaching and learning and who is ready to contribute to the development of new strategies to improve the quality of delivery to learners in Dental Nursing.
You will be registered with the GDC (General Dental Council). You will also hold an A1 award, or equivalent and a minimum level 2 in Maths and English. A V1 award, or equivalent, and an IT qualification are desirable. A full driving licence and transport are also essential for this role.
Full and part time hours considered.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.
Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
