Yeoman Park is an outstanding academy for pupils with severe (SLD), profound (PMLD) and complex (ASD) learning difficulties school aged 3-18. The academy provides a stimulating, challenging and safe learning environment where individuals are valued and nurtured.

We are looking for an experienced SEND teacher to lead one of our teams. You will be responsible for the development and direction of your department. You will work closely with the Academy Leadership Team and be one of a team of three Department Leads under the direction of the Principal and Vice Principal.


As a group, you will be encouraged to develop your leadership and management skills and to be part of wider academy development. You will have the opportunity to complete further qualifications as part of your professional development. 


Qualified teacher and experience of teaching SEND is essential. This is ideal for someone who wants to develop their skills in a special school environment and wants to take on a more senior role. All applicants would be required to support the development of new initiatives across the academy and trust.

Yeoman Park Academy is a specialist academy for children with severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties. The age range is 3 -19  and we currently have over 80 children and young adults attending the academy. We are a fully inclusive academy and strive to ensure that all children meet their full potential.
