Challney High School for Girls is a successful and inclusive school with outstanding facilities, friendly staff and a highly supportive environment.  The 2018 examination results are likely to place the school in the top 15% nationally for Progress 8. 

We are looking to appoint a passionate and inspiring practitioner who will build upon the successes of the History department and lead and develop an innovative curriculum that allows our girls to achieve the best possible outcomes having had the best possible experiences.  

If you are passionate about teaching and leadership and want to develop an innovative curriculum with inspiring learning opportunities for our students – then this is the post for you.  Our students make good and outstanding progress; their attitudes and behaviour are exemplary and they are a joy to teach.  There are strong numbers of girls choosing History at KS4.

Challney High School for Girls is a  secondary school for girls, located in the Challney area of Luton,  Bedfordshire. The school educates girls aged 11 – 16 and almost all  students are from minority ethnic heritages.
