Deputy Chief Executive Officer

To support the delivery of the Trust vision, but with a specific focus on school improvement and driving outcomes through outstanding teaching and learning, the trustees of Nishkam School Trust are looking to appoint a Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

Established in 2011, Nishkam School Trust is a pioneering group of academies with a Sikh ethos, multi-faith, virtues-led approach to education. We are inspired by the inter-religious legacy of the Sikh faith. We believe that our approach to education should be more than simply a means to acquiring factual knowledge. It should engage pupils more fully on how it is to be of the highest of human virtue and engage in the question of the purpose of life and beyond.

We are a truly collaborative Trust thriving on the positive relationships and willing involvement of like-minded professionals. We want an individual with the insight to identify and promote best practice, and the courage to challenge our schools to improve even further, by leading partnership working across the Trust’s academies in the West Midlands and London.

This newly created role is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and inspirational secondary school improvement professional who has the aspiration, integrity and ability to help support the ongoing improvements across the Trust’s academies.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with a track record of successful school improvement leadership. They will be committed to implementing educational excellence across our Trust, supported by the CEO and a committed Board.
