Following a review of our curriculum offer at both Key Stages 4 and 5 we are delighted to be advertising for a Deputy Curriculum Leader for Business Studies for September 2024 which will enable us to expand and develop our offer further.

As part of these plans, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Curriculum Leader for Business Studies, to join our great Business Studies curriculum area. Business Studies is taught currently taught at GCSE and A Level as well as a Level 3 vocational course. The ability to teach Law, which is currently offered at A Level, would be advantageous.

The Business Studies Department has a suite of dedicated teaching rooms that facilitate specialist teaching in all areas, as well as access to dedicated ICT accommodation. Students learning Business Studies and staff on the team benefit from inspirational and transformational leadership of this important subject area.

We are relentlessly focused on ensuring great teaching, learning and experiences are at the core of what we do in line with our mantra: Work Hard, Be Nice, No Excuses. We value experienced teachers joining our staff team as much as we do those new to the profession and encourage teachers at all stages of their career to apply. Slough and Eton is a great school and I am immensely proud to have joined it as Headteacher in September 2017.  Pupils and students at Slough and Eton are expected to work extremely hard and are encouraged to achieve their very best in all that they do.  As a result of their tremendous work ethic they achieve extremely well and we are very proud of them.  We believe in educating the whole child and as such place great importance on the many cultural experiences we provide for pupils and students as well as the academic ones.
