An exciting and fulfilling opportunity exist for a passionate and creative teacher to join a talented and committed maths team, at a rapidly improving local authority school in Hampshire.

Required for January/April 2017, an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious deputy curriculum leader for mathematics to join our dedicated and successful team. An R&R allowance is available to a suitable candidate. We are looking for an inspirational individual with the ability to teach a 11-16-year-old children and be responsible for planning and delivering high quality maths lessons, whilst developing and supporting numeracy across the curriculum.

Our aim, quite simply, is to make sure that every child, in every lesson, every day is achieving excellence. That is the heart of what we believe and try to live up to. This is a unique opportunity for a collaborative and motivated individual who wants to take the next step in their teaching career, to join a great maths team, and work under an exceptional middle leader.

We are looking to appoint a colleague who will:

  • Engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge students to raise achievement at all levels.
  • Support the Curriculum Leader in the smooth and effective running of the department.
  • Ensure the Maths team maintains high standards in Teaching and Learning and student progress.
  • Have a keen interest in leading mathematics across the curriculum.

Cove School is a larger than average 11-16 secondary co-educational establishment, located in the north of Hampshire. We are a local authority school within easy commute of London, the historic city of Winchester and the beautiful scenery of the New Forest.
