This is an exciting opportunity to join Ethos Academy Trust, where we aim to deliver the very best educational experiences for pupils from across the primary and secondary age range. Our academies are welcoming, calm and purposeful, and within a nurturing ethos, our learners are stretched academically, supported pastorally and developed socially and emotionally.

 

We are looking to appoint a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Support Worker, to support the Designated Safeguarding Lead and other staff members. Operating as Family Support Worker, the postholder will promote and develop good relationships with parents and carers of students, whilst proactively working to identify the needs and support for students and families. The postholder will provide mentoring and transition support for pupils and awareness workshops for parents. You will possess GCSE Grade A*-C (or equivalent) in Maths and English and competency with common IT systems such as Microsoft Office. You will have experience of working with children and of working with external stakeholders to build professional relationships.
