A member of the world-renowned Dulwich College International (DCI) family of schools, Dulwich International High School Zhuhai (DHZH) is a thriving school community offering outstanding education to 350 students aged 14 to 18.  The School is committed to academic achievement and holistic education, as well as to nurturing creativity and critical thinking so that students are prepared to thrive and succeed at DHZH and beyond.  

With the appointment of Matthew Conn as Director in August 2020, the School is entering its eleventh year of operation and is preparing for a new phase in its development as the leading international high school in the Greater Bay Area region.  Reporting to the Director, the new Deputy Director (Academic) will play a crucial role in this, driving forward teaching and learning excellence and supporting strategic and operational aspects of starting the academic year in a purpose-built new 800 student campus.

The Deputy Director (Academic) will be an adaptable self-starter with a track record of successful secondary leadership experience ideally gained as a Deputy Head.  S/he will possess the cultural awareness and global perspective to lead a diverse learning community.  First-class communication skills with the ability to inspire students, staff and parents alike in the pursuit of excellence are essential, as is a genuine resonance with the DHZH aims and ethos.
