About the role:
You will work with another Deputy Director to support the Director in the management and leadership of City and Islington Sixth Form College. You will line manage three curriculum areas and the student support managers within the Sixth Form College. You will lead on a number of areas, particularly student recruitment.
About you:
We are looking for an outstanding manager and teacher with high expectations of students and a commitment to a collaborative leadership style. You will have successful experience of teaching at A-level as well as successful management experience in a college or school. You will be enthusiastic, innovative and care about students.
About us:
City and Islington Sixth Form College is a well-established and over-subscribed specialist A-level centre, with 1600 students on roll. We are situated on one site at the Angel in the heart of London and our wonderful students travel from across the capital to learn with us. All teachers are tutors to a pastoral group of up to 22 A-level students and we have a wide range of enrichment and extension activities to develop our students’ confidence and skills.
