The Governors and Headmistress at St Mary’s School are seeking to appoint an experienced individual to join this dynamic and thriving school as Deputy Head Academic. The Deputy Head will play a key role in supporting and helping to shape the strategic direction of the School and in promoting the School’s ethos and reputation in all respects. Along with the Headmistress, and the Senior Leadership Team the Deputy Head has responsibility for ensuring the delivery of outstanding academic and pastoral provision and is involved in all areas of school life.

Additional benefits will include a significant fee discount for children to be educated at St Mary’s School (subject to places being available and all relevant admissions criteria being met). Meals will be provided free of charge during term time hours of work along with access to the fitness suite. This is a full-time role. The remuneration package is competitive and commensurate with experience.

St Mary’s School is all-through independent school for girls aged 3 -18, located in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Established in 1872, the school provides for day pupils and its grounds feature a number of old and ornate buildings. 

A selective institution, St Mary’s requires potential applicants to pass a series of examinations across a broad range of subjects, as well as provide positive references from their current school.
