An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative, forward-thinking academic leader to take up post as Deputy Head Academic at Kingsley School, one of the leading independent co-educational schools in the south-west. Set on the stunning north coast of Devon in a specially designated UNESCO biosphere, Kingsley School is looking for an innovative individual to two lead on the development of a curriculum based on sustainability and global relevance, fused with modern teaching and digital learning. With a focus on inclusion and diversity, the successful candidate will play a central role in defining post-pandemic education which better prepares young people for their future. The successful candidate will be an aspiring head and have experience leading academic improvement.

Kingsley School is located in the coastal town of Bideford, Devon. The school is co-educational and has around 400 pupils aged 0-18. Roughly 100 of these pupils are boarders, with the rest being day pupils. The school is located on a single site on Bideford, with provision for all year groups. An academically non-selective institution, Kingsley School can boast of a wide range of facilities including a fully floodlit astroturf pitch, a theatre, and a dedicated sports hall.
