Deputy Head, Director of Pastoral Care

The school seeks to appoint a Deputy Head, Director of Pastoral Care to take up post in September 2020.
The successful candidate will be a teacher of exceptional intellectual quality, vision and energy, who will have responsibility for many aspects of the day-to-day running of the school and play a major role in the school’s development with responsibility for pastoral care. The Deputy Head, Director of Pastoral Care, is the designated safeguarding lead and has primary responsibility for the provision of pastoral care within the school including line management responsibility for the heads of year, Head of Lower School, Head of Middle School and the medical and counselling staff.
St Paul’s Girls’ School is one of the country’s leading independent secondary day schools for girls aged 11-18.
