Deputy Head, Director of Senior School (Sixth Form)

An exceptional candidate is required to provide academic and pastoral leadership for the 230 girls in the sixth form, known as the senior school.  A member of the senior management team, the post holder will also be involved in the wider strategic management of the whole school. 

The role will include: 

• Establishing standards, priorities and strategic directions for the senior school 

• Ensuring excellent pastoral support for senior students through the management of the senior tutors  

• Running St Paul’s non-assessed curriculum as well as leading on extra-curricular provision and wider senior school opportunities. 

An excellent teacher, the successful candidate will need strong interpersonal skills, experience of pastoral work with sixth form students and previous management experience, perhaps as a Deputy Head, Head of Year or head of a large department.
