Mayfield is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic individual with management and boarding experience to join a forward-thinking SMT in a one of England’s foremost Catholic Schools. Taking a leading role in the strategic planning of the School, she or he will deputise for the Headmistress where necessary and have specific responsibilities for boarding and pastoral care, including safeguarding.
The ideal candidate should be a practising Catholic with a commitment to the education of girls and the ethos of the School. Resident on site, she or he will work closely with the Headmistress and senior colleagues to realise the strategic vision of the School, including overseeing the balance between our impressive academic provision and the wider pastoral and co-curricular life of the School. The successful candidate will be expected to be involved in all aspects of Mayfield life, including teaching a reduced academic timetable. Most curriculum subjects will be considered.
