Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Deputy Head of Nursery. The successful candidate will be an experienced Early Years Practitioner who will oversee and help lead all aspects of our thriving all-year-round Nursery provision. 

The successful candidate will work alongside our committed staff team who are dedicated to delivering a well-planned curriculum for EYFS.  You will be responsible for helping to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children aged 2 years 9 months to 4 years, and will also deputise for the Head of Nursery in her absence. 

Applicants will have the ability to communicate effectively with parents, children and colleagues and have the confidence and ability to lead a team. You will need to have a sound level of ICT competence within both the classroom and in administrative tasks including managing budgets and rotas. High standards are expected for both staff and pupils and a sense of humour is also important.
