Deputy Head of Pastoral Care (ISA Wenhua A-Level Center)

ISA Wenhua International Center of A-Level is looking for high potential candidates and experienced teachers for to start in August 2022.

The Deputy Head Pastoral Care is to lead and manage the pastoral teams to provide a positive, secure and pleasant learning environment for the students.  He/she will work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure outstanding levels of pastoral care for students.   The Deputy Head Pastoral will demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to school priorities and the overall achievement and well-being of all students.  The major role includes but not limited to the following areas:

  • Leadership and management of Pastoral System
  • Well-being Counselling
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection

Requirements   

  • Strong command of English   
  • Holder of Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Attained recognized teacher qualification (e.g. B.Ed., M.Ed, PGDE/PGCE)   
  • Not less two years in full-time experience at mainstream school setting   
  • Leadership and management skills to improve and maintain level of attainment and success 
  • Ability to motivate students and staff 
  • Ability to manage change and work under pressure of changing circumstances 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • High standards of integrity and approachability 
  • Sensitivity to the cultural differences   
  • A willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
