NIS Jakarta is seeking an outstanding Deputy Head of Primary to help shape the future as we embark on a new era of growth and development.

We are looking for candidates whose dynamism, commitment, energy, professional expertise and experience qualify them to take on this exciting and challenging role. The successful candidate will be academically able, an excellent classroom teacher, an excellent communicator, capable of giving effective and inspiring leadership to staff, and will fully understand the commitment required of all staff in this growing school.

Currently a small school poised for rapid growth and development, the Deputy Head will play a key role in all aspects of leadership including school development and raising academic standards, the development of School Policies, and the continued review and implementation of the School Action Plan. Significant autonomy to oversee and lead a large portfolio will be given to the right candidate. Initially this post will include some class teaching commitments.

The closing date for applications is 31 December. Initial discussions with shortlisted candidates will be conducted remotely by Skype with interviews taking place in London 30 January – 1 February 2018.
