The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation is a flourishing family of three all-through 3-18 academies: Crayford Academy, Hatcham College and Knights Academy.

Our reputation is built upon a tradition of high standards and academic excellence. We are committed to unlocking the potential of every pupil at every stage in their education.

We see current changes to the curriculum as a great opportunity to rethink our all-through provision and the way we assess. Our focus remains on pupils and their outcomes and maximizing every possibility that exists for children to do well. By making the quality of leadership at all levels a priority, we will ensure Crayford Academy is an outstanding school.

With our primary pupils given automatic entry to our secondary phase, transition work is a priority for the Primary Deputy Head Teacher. We place a strong emphasis on the importance of knowledge in literacy and numeracy, whilst developing the character of pupils. We believe that direct instruction works and outstanding teachers make all the difference. Improving the quality of teaching across the primary phase is key to this role, as is developing middle leaders. Staff at Crayford Temple Grove are dynamic and able, and seek strong guidance to deliver the academic outcomes we expect from our pupils.

We are looking for a talented individual who shares the school’s vision to provide an exceptional comprehensive education. You will need to demonstrate commitment to your own education and be driven and ambitious with strong leadership skills.

If you are appropriately qualified, experienced and ready to accept the challenge of this demanding job, we look forward to receiving your application.
