For September 2024 we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher and leader as Deputy Head of Science in our already extremely successful department. We wish to appoint an experienced teacher with excellent curriculum knowledge, someone who consistently models excellent practice and has students' progress and enjoyment of learning at the forefront of their teaching. 

Coombe Boys’ is a popular and highly successful non-selective 11-18 school that is federated with Coombe Girls’ School and three local primary schools to comprise the Coombe Academy Trust, based in New Malden. Coombe Boys’ has approximately 1,000 students on roll, including a mixed sixth form.

Results at GCSE and in the Sixth Form are significantly above national averages and the school was graded Good with Outstanding Leadership & Management in its most recent Ofsted inspection (September 2023).

Coombe Boys’ School is a comprehensive secondary school offering a broad and balanced curriculum to local boys aged 11-16. We also have a mixed sixth form run in close collaboration with Coombe Girls’ School.  There are approximately 1100 students on roll including the sixth form.  The school has held academy status since 2012, as part of the Coombe Academy Trust (CAT) which also incorporates Coombe Girls’ School, Knollmead Primary School, Green Lane Primary & Nursery School, and Robin Hood Primary & Nursery School.  The school is based in New Malden close to the A3 and with Motspur Park station within 8 minutes walking distance.
