For September 2018, we are seeking to appoint a forward-thinking individual with drive, character and excellent subject knowledge to join our Science Department and take a leading role within it. The successful candidate will be someone with excellent curriculum knowledge, a willingness to work flexibly to support the achievement of students, someone who consistently models outstanding practice and has students’ well-being at the forefront of all that they do. This position would suit someone who has the ambition of progressing to Head of Department and beyond. Coombe Boys’ is a popular and highly successful and oversubscribed non-selective 11 – 18 school that is federated with its partner girls’ school to comprise the Coombe Academy Trust, based in New Malden, Surrey. Coombe Boys’ has approximately 800 students on roll, including a mixed sixth form.
