Panyadee, the British International School of Samui requires a dedicated, qualified and passionate Deputy Head of Secondary. The ideal candidate would ideally have strengths in data production & analysis, as well as raising standards.

Panyadee, the British International School of Samui endeavours to develop the intellectual, aesthetic, moral, physical, social and emotional potential of the students. The school atmosphere fosters the allegiance of its students to their cultural heritage and promotes respect and tolerance between students and teachers of all cultures. 

Applicants must have a minimum of a degree, PGCE or B.Ed. and QTS (or similar levelled teaching qualification) with at least three to five years’ experience in a singular school.  Previous experience in a senior leadership position is not vital but it would beneficial.  Experience in teaching in Sout East Asia would also be an advantage.

The focus of the position will be on teaching, learning and pastoral issues.
The successful candidate would be joining the Senior Leadership Team to help manage the secondary year groups within the school. The position itself would require five lessons a week teaching in our GED support programme.

The position will include the following:

-A monthly salary of 90,000 Baht (pre-tax)

-Two-year contract

-Participation in security style fund.  3% of monthly salary is assigned to fund.  The school matches that amount and the fund pays out in the final salary of payment of the contract.

-Medical insurance, accident insurance and social security 

-Visa and work permits 

-Free school lunches
