Kellett School is seeking an exceptional individual and leader who has the vision and energy to provide the highest standard of pastoral care to its 620 students in the Senior School. The suitable candidate should have the drive and ambition to secure a Headship position in the future.

Reporting to the Head of Senior School and a member of the School Leadership Team, the Deputy Head (with responsibility for Pastoral, Community and Wellbeing) has a key role to play in both the day to day management of the school and its strategic development.

As a member of the Positive Education movement, Kellett School proudly shares its expertise worldwide. We are seeking an exceptional pastoral leader to promote and uphold the ethos and values of the school, whilst contributing their expertise to the wider professional community. 

The Deputy Head of Senior School will have responsibility for managing and leading the Heads of House as well as developing and implementing our Positive Education strategy in the Senior School.

Kellett is a through train school with campuses in Pok Fu Lam on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon Bay. The Pok Fu Lam campus is a Preparatory School (for ages 4-11 years old) in Wah Fu at the foot of Mount Kellett and overlooking Kellett Bay, while the Kowloon Bay campus houses a Preparatory and Senior School for students from 4 -18 years old. 

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and English National Curriculum, which includes GCSEs, IGCSEs and A levels. As our children progress through the school, they are encouraged to learn with growing independence in a challenging and stimulating environment. As a result, our students achieve consistently strong academic results with many going on to study at the world’s leading institutions. 

In conjunction with our rigorous academic programme, our students enjoy access to a rich and varied programme of extra-curricular activities and a wide repertoire of performing arts, sports and volunteer opportunities.
