The Garden school seeks to appoint a highly motivated, determined leader in the role of Deputy Head of Standards and Development. The successful candidate will work together with the Executive Head and other senior leaders to ensure that the school provides an outstanding education for all its pupils.
Salary: Inner London L21-L23
The Garden is specialist provision for autistic students who have severe learning difficulties. It consists of The Garden school site in Stoke Newington which caters for children from 4 to 14 years old and The Pavilion school in Clapton which admits Key Stage 4 and post 16 students.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the skills and experience to drive forward the quality of teaching and learning, pupil achievement and professional development across our two school sites.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
· A track record of success in delivering first-class education provision, achievement and standards for ASD students in a Special school
· Experience of leading others through change
· Strong staff management to secure required standards
· Proven success at leadership and building effective teams
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent organisational skills
