Founded by the Girls’ Day School Trust in 1876, it is one of the most prominent schools in the UK’s leading network of independent girls’ schools and academies and has an outstanding academic record of achievement for its pupils. A selective independent school for girls aged between 4 and 18 years, with over 900 girls from pre-prep to university entry, SHHS has been at the forefront of girls’ education since its inception. Following the appointment of Mrs Clare Wagner to the Headship of Watford Grammar School for Girls, SHHS is seeking a caring, committed and inspiring professional to join the Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting time in the school’s history as it plans for the next stage of its journey.
