Deputy Head (Pastoral)

September 2018

Godolphin School is one of the country’s leading independent boarding and day schools for girls with an excellent reputation. Founded in 1726, the School educates girls from 3-18 and is known for the strength of its pastoral care. We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated pastoral leader to join our team and further develop the pastoral direction and wellbeing of the school. Boarding is a key component to the educational life of the school and the Deputy Head Pastoral is a residential post with family accommodation (recently refurbished) provided. The school has undertaken a major boarding restructure which comes to fruition in 2018. This is an exciting time to be joining the senior management team to work through the next stage of the school’s strategic plan.  The role is wide-ranging, encompassing all aspects of school life and includes the line management of House staff and Heads of Year. This is a teaching position of up to 0.4 of a timetable and applications from any teaching discipline will be considered.

Godolphin is located in Salisbury on a well landscaped, spacious site and enjoys close links with the Cathedral and the City.
