Required from: September 2021

If you are excited by the prospect of teaching in a school that has:

  • Highly motivated students who take their learning seriously and value their teachers and each other
  • An excellent record of achievement and progress
  • Enthusiastic and supportive staff committed to providing enriching learning experiences
  • An innovative and personalised professional development programme for all career stages
  • An excellent working environment that prioritises the wellbeing of its staff and students

And you want to be part of the only all-girls’ multi-academy trust in the country - then come to teach at Nonsuch.

We value diversity and individual contribution; supporting and encouraging both students and staff to pursue their interests and achieve their ambitions.

Our school has grown substantially over the past two years and we are now seeking a dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking educationalist to join our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of school leadership and will play a key part in further developing pastoral provision and shaping future strategy.

This is a broad role and you will need to demonstrate accomplishment in strategic leadership at a senior level. You will be an exceptional communicator, capable of delivering results through outstanding leadership and teamwork. The desire to empower girls and young people through education and by understanding how best to prepare them to play a full part in society is crucial to the role. You need not have any previous experience of working in a selective school.

As a school, we are fully committed to the principles of equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion. We have an established and representative CARE council (Champions of Anti-Racism and Equality) comprising students and staff, to help drive forward positive change. We want to attract and retain the very best teachers, ensuring that our staff body reflects the diversity of our students and local community. All appointments will be made on merit, following a fair and transparent process. In line with the Equality Act 2010, however, the school may employ positive action where diverse candidates can demonstrate their ability to perform the role equally well.
