Applications are invited for Deputy Head, Staff and Co-curricular to work with the Bedales Senior Team (BST) with a shared strategic vision which inspires and motivates pupils and colleagues and leads to excellent standards in all areas of school life.
You will be expected to support the welfare and facilitate the training and professional development of the Senior School teachers and to be a visible and friendly presence, getting to know staff, to build their trust in you as the person responsible for staff welfare by having empathy, integrity and discretion at all times.
You will be responsible for the school’s thriving co-curricular programme, working with colleagues to ensure that all elements of the co-curriculum are strong and there are appropriate systems in place to ensure a balance of co-curricular opportunities are offered that reflect the school aims.

About Bedales School
Bedales School is an independent, co-educational, selective, day and boarding school for children aged 3-18. It is situated in Petersfield in Hampshire and there are 460 pupils on its roll. There are admission fees and scholarships and bursaries are available.
Bedales is a charitable trust and was founded in 1893 by J H Badley as a humane alternative to the authoritarian regimes of the late-Victorian public schools. Its founding ethos was, and still is, “Head, Hand and Heart.”
