Lyndhurst School is seeking an experienced and inspirational Deputy Head to play a central role in shaping the future direction of the school. Working closely with the Head, the successful candidate will support the delivery of the school’s vision and strategic priorities while maintaining the highest standards of teaching, learning, pastoral care and professionalism.

This is a pivotal leadership role requiring an outstanding practitioner with strong organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills. The Deputy Head will combine a teaching commitment with whole-school leadership responsibilities, contributing to academic excellence within a warm, inclusive and family-orientated school community. The role involves close partnership with staff, governors and parents, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

The successful candidate will thrive in a nurturing environment, inspire both pupils and colleagues, and play a key role in driving school improvement, supporting staff development and ensuring every child is valued and supported to achieve their full potential.
