With an engaging learning environment and new leadership, Manor House is looking for a Deputy Head from January 2017 to work closely with the new Headteacher in this exciting phase of development.   

Manor House School is nestled in seventeen acres of magical gardens, woodlands and sports fields that makes our beautiful school a very special place to learn and grow. The magnificent country house, complemented with state of the art educational facilities, is brought alive by the creative and positive energy of the girls who choose to learn here. We are a selective independent school for girls aged 2-16 years, located in the village of Bookham, Surrey. We are members of the Girls Schools Association (GSA) and have an on-site Nursery, Pre-Prep Department, Junior School and Senior School.  

Manor House School was originally founded in 1920 in Sidmouth, Devon by Miss Green and Miss Wheeler. The school moved to its current location in 1937 where it has grown and flourished ever since. Our Headteacher, Tracey Fantham BA (Hons) MA NPQH, took over leadership of Manor House School on 1 September 2016.

The Deputy Head will have proven ability as an outstanding leader with an understanding of the independent education sector. A commitment to high standards and excellence, a practitioner of change management and with the ability to implement strategies are essential to this role. You will also require excellent communication and presentation skills.
