Newfield School is an impressive, well-resourced special school situated in Blackburn, Lancashire providing high quality specialist education, care and therapy for children and young people aged 2 - 19 years with a wide range of learning difficulties including autism, PMLD, SLD, complex medical needs, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.

In Spring 2018, under the Leadership and Management of Newfield, we will be opening a new provision for Autism. In this innovative and exciting time of development, we are looking to appoint a Deputy Head Teacher to join us, starting in January 2018.
Working in partnership with the Head Teacher, this new post in school provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to shape the future special needs provision in the Borough and will form part of a leadership succession plan as the school grows and develops in the coming years.
