Deputy Head Teacher

The Governors of this creative and effective infant school are seeking to appoint a deputy head teacher with the vision, experience and skills to work closely with the head, senior leaders and governors to further develop the strong learning culture and positive ethos of the school.

The successful applicant should have the ability to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge pupils and staff, be forward thinking and passionate about raising standards and continually developing teaching and learning practice across the school.

We are looking for an excellent teacher who can demonstrate:

• The ability to teach creatively, using a cross curricular approach.
• Proven experience in implementing effective strategies for raising achievement and improving outcomes, including a sound understanding of the development of quality and manageable assessment practice.
• The ability to analyse key school performance data to ensure priorities are appropriate and improvement in standards is promoted.
• Experience of leading successful initiatives in curriculum development.
• The ability to support, lead and motivate members of our whole school community.
• Evidence of excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
