Newport Primary School is an inclusive, multi cultural community school serving an area of change and regeneration near the town centre of Middlesbrough. We are now looking for a Deputy Head Teacher who will:

  • Demonstrate real enthusiasm and commitment to the school community
  • Help to empower all of our learners to reach their potential and improve standards
  • Embrace and continue to uphold the caring, nurturing ethos of the school
  • Have exemplary teaching, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have excellent proven behaviour management skills
  • Be able to support the professional development of others within school.
  • Be an effective professional role model within and beyond the classroom.
  • Will contribute to the collaborative working relationship of all the schools in the Trust and across the town
