Deputy Head Teacher

Fairway is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Head Teacher to join us from September 2024, to work with the Head Teacher in this popular and happy school.

 To be appointed to this role, you will be expected to:

·    Have recent experience on a senior leadership team at AHT level or above, with a proven track record of improving outcomes for children across a year group or phase.

·    A proven ability to lead within a distributed leadership ethos, with leadership skills that motivate and inspire staff and pupils to achieve the highest standards

·    Demonstrate commitment to further raising the standards of teaching and learning that our school has achieved.

·    Demonstrate good or outstanding teaching with an excellent record of classroom practice.

·    Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, a sense of humour and a caring personality.

·    A successful record of leading all aspects of English (Reading, Writing and Phonics)
