Job overview

We are “Aspiring to Greatness” are you?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher, with drive and ambition, to join our experienced and effective leadership team. As Depute Head Teacher, you will work with the Head Teacher and the Senior Leadership Team to support colleagues in providing pupils with a school experience that enables them to achieve their best.

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring or existing Deputy Head Teacher to work alongside the Head Teacher and Governing Body to lead the school on its exciting continued journey of improvement. This post has arisen as a result of the previous post holder successfully gaining their first headship recently.

Piper’s Vale Community Primary School is a larger than average, two form entry primary school, that is on an exciting journey of improvement. The school is in the North East of Ipswich, close to the A14 and Orwell River with woodlands and local sports provision close by. The school itself is a modern purpose built two-storey building which opened in September 2002. The school has a very child centred approach that tries to nurture the whole child and provide support to the whole family where needed.

Visits to the school are very welcome, please contact the Head Teacher, Paul Arch on (01473) 320413 or via email at paul.arch@pipersvale.suffolk.sch.uk to arrange a suitable time.

Please visit our school web-site: www.pipersvale.org.uk

Further information and an application form can be download by using the links provided or from the school directly on Tel (01473) 320413.

Closing date: Monday 3rd October 2016 by 12pm (email applications welcomed)

Interviews to take place week being: Monday 10th October 2016.
