We are looking for an outstanding Deputy Head Teacher to join our senior leadership team.

As a Qualified Teacher, you will demonstrate a wide range of SEN experience and have proven leadership and management expertise.  An outstanding relationship builder, you will also know how to inspire exceptional performance and maintain a positive and enthusiastic learning environment for pupils and colleagues alike.  You will lead and manage key areas of the school through the process of continuous improvement.

The successful candidate must come from a SEN background with significant experience of ASD/SLD.  The successful candidate will be a fully qualified experienced teacher with relevant experience together with a sound understanding of the current legislation and statutory regulations relating to education.

Joining in September 2020, you will commence with a bespoke induction package which will include visits to other Priory Education Services schools to meet with a network of likeminded and supportive colleagues.

This role is mainly non-classroom based, although your responsibilities may include some teaching.  This post is suitable for candidates who have proven leadership experience, either at Middle Leadership or SLT level.  This role will include DSL responsibility.

We are a day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.
