Deputy Head (Teaching and Learning)

Set on a private estate in the leafy suburb of Kingston, you will be close to Richmond Park and the River Thames, yet within short travelling distance into central London. 

You will be responsible for leading the teaching and learning within the school by way of the development and implementation of a teaching and learning strategic plan to ensure whole school improvement.

The role holder will have significant leadership and the management experience of the teaching and learning in a wide range of curriculum areas. In addition you will possess experience of using tracking and monitoring to drive higher achievement, together with strategic thinking and motivation to ensure that Rokeby continues to be an innovative, high achieving and ambitious subject learning environment.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills with a view to driving the meaningful development of teaching professionals. This person also needs to be able to lead all aspects of the teaching and learning life of the school, evaluating curriculum options and leading a performance culture of teacher success and reflection for improved future practice.

Salary according to Rokeby pay scale with outstanding training and CPD opportunities available.
