St Peter's London Docks is a happy and friendly church school, steeped in the rich history of Wapping and the London Docks area.
We are looking for:
- a communicant Anglican, committed to an education based on Christian values;
- an ambitious leader with a successful track record in teaching across the primary school age range;
- proven leadership and management experience in school and working with external agencies and the community;
- evidence of sustaining and improving standards and achievement;
- a team player, with excellent communication and motivational skills and the ability to develop and support others;
- the confidence and drive to enjoy and enhance the thriving partnerships held between the school, home, church and wider community.

Our aim is to give every child the opportunity to achieve their full potential through a broad and balanced curriculum that develops their skills, knowledge and positive attitudes. The Government’s National Curriculum provides the basis, but not the limits, for this work.
The friendly, skilled staff at St. Peter’s is a strong feature of the school and work very closely together as an effective team. We currently have 39 members of staff, including 13 teachers, 20 non teaching staff, a caretaker and 5 members of our administration team. We pride ourselves on having strong professional relationships and have a clear understanding of how to provide the best learning opportunities for our children.
