The current Deputy Head has just been appointed as the Head Teacher at Norfolk House School, a highly respected and successful independent school in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

We seek an appropriately qualified, enthusiastic teacher, with experience of teaching in Key Stage 2. Knowledge of Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 3 would be an advantage. The Deputy Head will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school and will deputise for the Headmaster in his absence. The successful candidate will need to be a confident, committed, dynamic classroom practitioner and a caring professional with high expectations of pupil behaviour and attainment, able to form excellent relationships with Governors, parents, pupils and members of staff.

The post holder will be a member of the Senior Management Team, have some teaching commitment and will be expected to ‘give that extra yard’. Please see the job description and person specification for further details.
