After the promotion of our Deputy Headteacher to headship at our school, the children, staff, governing body and Northern Education Trust are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher/Vice Principal to join our highly successful team. The school has elected to become an academy in February 2017.

We are looking for:

• An inspirational leader to support the school in its journey to outstanding
• Someone with proven leadership experience, committed to achieving the highest possible standards for all our pupils
• A leader with experience of working with parents, governors and the community
• A team player, with strong communication/interpersonal skills
• An outstanding teacher, who is experienced at improving the quality of teaching and learning
• A leader who is both visionary, resilient and robust in effecting positive change
• Someone with significant experience in ‘safeguarding pupils’
