We have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate as Deputy Headteacher at St Helena School, a member of The Sigma Trust. This is an exciting time for the school: a new Headteacher has just been appointed and she is now looking to grow her established team to lead the school forward. 

The Role

As the Deputy Headteacher you will:

  • Work with the Head, Trust, Local Governing Body (LGB) and school staff, to support the leadership of the school. 
  • Be responsible for improving progress through effective behaviour systems, monitoring the progress of all pupils and reporting this to the Headteacher and Local Governing Body.
  • Be the Safeguarding Lead for the school including monitoring the progress and impact of the school’s pupil premium funding and attendance interventions.
