The Headteacher and Governing Body wish to appoint a suitable candidate to the position of Deputy Headteacher at Montpelier School, commencing 1st September 2018.
The successful candidate will be well supported by the Senior Deputy Headteacher and Headteacher, working closely to secure high standards and quality provision for our pupils. The senior leadership team, including two Assistant Headteachers and a School Business Manager, works collaboratively and supportively with middle and emerging leaders in the school, sharing the same commitment to ensuring that teaching is of a high standard, leading to desired outcomes.
The post has become available due to the departure of one of our existing, and very successful, Deputy Headteachers and we envisage this will be an external appointment.
This post will suit an experienced and proven senior teacher or an existing Assistant or Deputy Headteacher who wants the opportunity to further develop their skills within the context of working at the heart of a dynamic and thriving environment, which is also a National Teaching School.
The school offers free on- site parking, dedicated office space and excellent resources including an ipad pro and laptop for remote access usage. The successful applicant will also receive a conditional recruitment award of £4,000 on appointment.
