We are seeking to appoint a caring, proactive and highly motivated Deputy Headteacher who can work with us to make a significant contribution towards the school's journey from Good to Outstanding.

Then we are looking for someone like you to work in our school.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fully inclusive mainstream infant and nursery school with the privilege of a specialist provision for taking up to 10 children with a physical disability. We also have Coteford Children’s Centre on our site and rent out space to a very successful private nursery that can provide full day care.
The role will not be class based, but there will be an expectation that you would have a teaching commitment of approximately 50% so that you can work with the headteacher to drive continuous school improvement across the school as we move further along our journey towards outstanding.

We are looking for someone who:

• is able to demonstrate outstanding teaching and has an exemplary record of primary classroom practice.
• has experience of leading a core curriculum area
• has the drive, determination and enthusiasm to enhance the high level of learning in our school.
• possesses excellent organisational and communication skills and has the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
• has a commitment to working in partnership alongside parents and the local community.
